But for me, the soul of the character lives in her speech. If that’s not aligned, the portrayal feels incomplete,” Neha added.

I do feel emotionally and spiritually connected to her during shoots.”

However, she ensures she maintains a healthy boundary between the role and her personal identity. “After the shoot, I take time to ground myself—through silence, journaling, and personal routines. I remind myself gently that I am Neha, and I’m here to be a medium for Radha’s essence, not to become her entirely,” she shared.

Still, parts of the character tend to linger. “Radha’s calmness, her faith, and devotion—those elements stay with me. And I cherish them. These roles offer so much more than just a performance—they leave a lasting imprint on your soul.”
