In an interview with Animal Climate and Health Save Foundation, Giorgia opens up about when she decided that she didn't want to consume animals anymore and the moment that sparked her decision, to which she answers, She says, "I am from Italy, I am an Italian. Over there people are mostly non-vegetarian. In my childhood, I was even a nonvegetarian. I remember when I was 14 years old and I was sitting in my dining room and eating a Beef. Eating beef over there is still very normal. At the same time, there was a documentary being played on TV about Meat and how it is made, and in it, I saw a cow that was being taken to slaughter with her eyes full of tears. Seeing all that I decided that I didn't want to be a part of this anymore, this is wrong and I won't eat from now ever"
